    Not good

So I had bought a similar one for more from ati but under grip was an open hole and not a "closed compartment" door like this one has. I got this and had it for months and noticed the "adjustable rear stock" kept slipping and coming out of its "locked position". It's tighten by a round bolt/but on bottom that adjusts the little handle to adjust it if you want it longer or shorter. I ended up using "loctight" to hold onto the bolt to prevent it from loosening and still doesn't work right. Bolt will loosen from bottom and your "slide stock" will close on you since u gotta "keep it close to your shoulder" and with pressure or with use, it will loosen and close up.... trashing it and getting something else

    Nice but no instructions

Posted by Paul Teter on Mar 17th 2021

Good price compared with other alternatives. Shipped at lightning speed. No instructions. Be sure to use the short bolt that is furnished. If you use a longer bolt that you removed from a previous pistol grip, the shotgun will not function. The longer bolt with the supplied hand grip causes the shell lifter to draw up into the receiver and then it blocks shells instead of feeding them. I learned this the hard way after having to learn to disassemble and reassemble the whole shotgun. But that is something I should have learned before anyway. So now I have a very clean and well oiled functional weapon. You have to play with the rings on the tube to get the stock to tighten down in the vertical position. The shoulder rest can collapse down to the receiver for compact storage and quickly expanded to full length. No pad on stock. But much better than recoil being borne completely by one hand and also improving sighting. Overall, a very good option for installing a shoulder stock at a very reasonable price. The weapon is relatively light and probably best with low recoil ammo.

Not a bad product. Comfortable grip. But one gripe...

This item looks to work pretty well, although I have not attached it to the gun yet. My only complaint is that it comes with no instructions whatsoever and there's a learning curve to figure out how to correctly assemble and install it. I almost damaged it trying to assemble it. You've gotta be kinda smart to get it right without messing up your new gadget. After I figured out I had to stick something down the top hole to depress the plunger, I was ok. Also, I would recommend buyers to oil or WD40 the threads before screwing the device into the port, otherwise you will strip and ruin the threads. Once I did this, it was smooth as butter. You're welcome. lol

    Perfect fit on Maverick 88

Posted by Jody on Oct 17th 2020

Fit perfectly on my Mossberg Maverick 88. It doesn’t come with instructions. Took a few minutes to figure things out. The pistol grip feels like it doesn’t fit at first, but when you bolt it in and start tightening it down it slowly slides into place. The butt stock lever doesn’t seam like it drops low enough to fit the buffer tube, but I got a flat head screwdriver and pressed it down to fit the buffer tube in. Then the rest is easy peasy. Also, the hardware is in a cool storage compartment under the pistol grip.
