Great product a must have for a ar 15 build

Take the time & purchase separate springs and detents. The ones that come with these are not fit to use. Some of the detents came with rust buildup, the springs are far too stiff. I ended up using name brand detents and springs and the pins worked flawlessly. You get what you pay for.

These pins look and work better than the parts kit pins and make it so much easier to break down. With springs and detents the price can't be beat!

I would have gave a better review but the pins being shown are not what you get,they only come some what close.anyway the thing is that they fit and they work,so there we are.

order was placed on 9/24/20 and I got my order on 10/1/20 instead of what I ordered I got three sets of springs and detents,but no extended pins.I complained and was told they would ship out today.I'll wait to see what comes if anything and get back to everyone latter.

Okay, we've all been swamped and in a hurry to get things done at one time or another. That's what happened to me. I had 2 of the same pins and one wasn't fitting right. So, my review earlier was wrong, I was wrong. These pin sets are good. And I do like that they are a darker black than most, even if they seem a little softer as far as metal goes. I will definitely be buying more, they work fine.

I bought a couple of sets of these for AR15 builds and when I went to install the first set, the front Pivot Pin will not work. I opened the other set and it is the same. They are machined incorrectly. The groove for the detent is not machined in the correct location and the face that butts against the lower does not have the flat machined on it so it will fully bottom in the pivot hole of the lower. Hoping I can get my money back, they are not acceptable.

They are quality made but did not work for me. I believe a polymer lower is to thick for these pins to work.
