This is installed to replace the standard rear end plate adapter on your rifle with collapsible stock.

I have purchased a total of 6 of the ambidextrous end plates for builds I am doing. 2 from the original purchase were snug fitting but OK. The last 4 I have had to file so they fit over the buffer tube threads. I don't believe I should have to "modify to fit" a part ordered for a specific function. A bit of a disappointment.
